A milestone for inclusion in Newfoundland and Labrador!
With new support from the Provincial and Federal governments, L’Arche Avalon is one step closer to building its first homes in St. John’s. Set for completion in 2027, the two homes will provide fully accessible housing rooted in inclusion, belonging, and community — reflecting the L’Arche model that has enriched lives across Canada for over 50 years.
This project builds on a national movement of inclusive housing at L’Arche, alongside new initiatives in Vancouver and Stratford.
We can’t wait to see this dream come to life!

Un jalon pour l’inclusion à Terre-Neuve-et-Labrador!
Avec le soutien des gouvernements provincial et fédéral, L’Arche Avalon franchit une nouvelle étape vers la construction de ses premières maisons à St. John’s. Prévue pour 2027, ces deux maisons offriront un logement entièrement accessible, fondé sur l’inclusion, l’appartenance et la communauté — dans la lignée du modèle de L’Arche qui enrichit des vies à travers le Canada depuis plus de 50 ans.
Ce projet s’inscrit dans un mouvement national de logements inclusifs de L’Arche, aux côtés de nouvelles initiatives à Vancouver et à Stratford.
